Match 4
Full Physic took the points in this quite even affair. The first half saw few chances at first but it was the Sharks who created a couple through some good work from Pluviose, Morris and Gregg. But, they couldn’t quite convert. Full Physic also cleared off the line. At the other end, Brooks saved the Sharks on a couple of occasions. One a swerving, long distance shot, which needed to be tipped over the bar.
Full Physic took the lead soon before half time, after the Sharks defence thought the ball was out for a goal kick, only for Stephens Derilien to bundle the ball in on his return to the PPL.
Full Physic killed the game off with a good finish from their nunber 10 Angelin Cadet, after a ball from the right. The Sharks were awarded a penalty with minutes left, which Gregg converted, but it was too late despite a late chance for Peterson Evariste.
Match 5
The game turned out to be a little more one sided than perhaps was expected. The Jaguars looked on top of their game aleady and added to the convincing win against the Academy Eagles in their first game of the season. Raymond Burey hit a great hat-trick and could have had several more, but there were also strong performances throughout the team, notably from Junior Paul, Patrick Alouidor and Jose Elcius in attack but also Jeff Beljour and Gilbert Tilus at the back and goal keeper Evelson Jean.
Lenford Singh worked hard up front for Beaches but looked too isolated generally. An injury to Ainsworth Reid in the first half and players missing due to work commitments, would not have helped. Danar Lewis converted a late penalty as a consolation for Beaches.
Player of the week: Raymond Burey, Academy Jaguars
Match 6
A dramatic start to this game saw a goal in the first minute when the pace and power of Jeanlis Job caught the Eagles defence unaware to make it 0-1. A few minutes later a foul in the Eagles box on Job led to a second through a penalty cleanly scored by Job. Again, just minutes later, Job was through on goal after a deft flick over the keeper, but was then pulled back by the keeper leading to another pen and a red card for the keeper. A goal, late in the half, again for Job made it 0-4 at half time.
One might have thought the young Eagles might fold in the situation they found themselves in, but it was not to be. A goalkeeper change, and putting Norvius as sweeper, shored things up, and the team played with a real purpose and energy in the second half and restricted Cheshire Hall to few chances, whilst creating a few more for themselves.
Whilst Cheshire Hall will be happy with their performance, the Eagles and Coach McLaren will be able to take something from the game following their strong second half performance belying the 0-4 deficit and playing with purpose and effort despite the scoreline.

Match 7
The battle of the current and former Academy players was an entertaining affair in the end but was a little slow for the first hour. It was Full Physic who appeared to be having most of the possession in the first half with the Jaguars struggling to create chances, with Burey on his own up front. It took a penalty on 30 minutes to bring the first goal when the Jaguars' Patrick Alouidor was brought down in the box after a darting run down the right with Burey slotting the spot kick confidently. Ten minutes later a lovely move through the middle led to a great ball to Burey who rounded the keeper nicely.
0-2 down at half time, and it was looking tough for Full Physic who responded by bringing on Nacius and new keeper Blaise at half time, as well as Fred Dorvil 15 minutes later. This gave Full Physic more presence up front and it was Elton Charles who pulled a goal back with ten minutes to go after good work from Angelyn Cadet, to set up a nervous finish for the Jaguars. Full Physic was on top at this point and they got their reward as Fred Dorvil scooped a shot into the right hand corner to equalise.
The Jaguars will be disappointed not to have taken three points here and Full Physic showed again their knack of getting a result when it matters.
