Mark returned to the TCIFA following a visit in 2023, with the intention of giving back to the football community. During his visit, Mark conducted a comprehensive goalkeeping clinic that attracted aspiring goalkeepers from across the islands. His sessions were meticulously planned, offering players a mix of rigorous training and motivational talks, which emphasized the importance of discipline and perseverance.

The clinic was a resounding success. Mark's approach was both engaging and educational, focusing on fundamental skills such as positioning, reflexes, and decision-making under pressure. Participants had the opportunity to engage in hands-on drills, receive personalized feedback, and gain insights into the techniques that may have shaped Mark's career. The atmosphere was one of enthusiasm.

By the end of the clinic, participants had not only honed their goalkeeping skills but also left with renewed confidence and motivation. Mark's influence extended beyond the technical aspects of the game; he inspired a sense of determination and resilience, qualities that are invaluable in sports and life.

Dane Ritchie, TCIFA Technical Director , stated, "The arrival of individuals who can make such a significant contribution to the program in the Turks and Caicos Islands underscores the growing recognition of the value of football and its impact on the lives of these players. Our youth and senior goalkeepers, along with their coaches, will greatly benefit from the training provided by these professionals, who have extensive experience both as players and coaches at the highest levels.

We are grateful for this contribution from Mark Dougherty of Proactive Goalkeeping, and we hope this marks the beginning of a long and productive partnership."
