PPL Plate Playoff results

The PPL Champions and Plate Playoffs are rolling along and despite our rain problems from Saturday we still managed to get games on Tuesday and Wednesday which saw victories for Full Physic and SWA Sharks.

PPL Champions: Small World 0, Full Physic 3

Small World seem to have lost their mojo and tripped up again in their second game of the Champions Play-offs, with Full Physic seeing out a valuable 3-0 victory with two goals from Fred Dorvil and a penalty (on a retake after also scoring the first) from Jean Bernard. Small World have four games left to make amends and get to the Champions final.

PPL Plate:  SWA Sharks 8, Teachers 1

Teachers frustrated the Sharks for most of the first half and equalised just before halftime after Sharks went ahead. Sharks had also missed a penalty and a number of chances.After Teachers had a man sent off for a foul on the striker as last man, Sharks forged ahead with Brian Gregg hitting five and Dady Aristide two. Despite the defeat, Teachers will be happy with the consolation of their first half performance and having Damian Palmer back.
