PPL Plate and Champions results

PPL Plate:  Cheshire Hall 3, SWA Sharks 1

The 8pm game on Saturday saw the Cheshire Hall take on Sharks who were without two of their main strikers.  Cheshire Hall dominated the first half despite Sharks taking the lead with an own goal and Cheshire Hall went 4-1 ahead by half time with two goals from Jeanlis Job who was back up front after playing in goal for a few games due to a minor injury.  Jackson Joseph contributed with their fourth goal on 34 minutes.

The score flattered Cheshire Hall a little as Sharks had plenty of chances but could not convert any despite some impressive creative play.  The second half was more even but the Sharks forward line were still unable to convert their chances and Cheshire hall held out for a fairly comfortable win to leave them fairly certain of a place in the Plate final.

PPL Champions: Beaches 4, Full Physic 3

This game was a thriller form the off with plenty of pace and skill on show and Beaches took the upper hand with a great display from Angelism Cadet scoring goals on 5 & 17 minutes and in first half injury time to make it 3-1 at half time.  Full Physic did not roll over and came roaring back via the irrepressible Fred Dorvil who scored a second just after half time to make it 3-2. Dorvil is leading the Golden Boot standings by some way with 21 goals in total, way ahead of anyone else.
Full Physic equalized from a dramatic Beaches own goal in the 84th minute which was given despite an incorrect suggestion of offside but it was Romaine (Monkey) Small who clinched the victory for Beaches in the 5th minute of added time.
