Bahamas matches help prepare the Turks & Caicos Islands Men's Beach Soccer National Team for the upcoming Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship
The Turks and Caicos Islands Football Association’s Beach Soccer team is currently preparing for the Concacaf Beach Soccer World Cup Qualifiers to be held in Mexico in May 2019. As part of this preparation, the team traveled to Nassau this past weekend (April 26-27, 2019) to participate in a practice game and an International Friendly at Rald Field in Nassau, Bahamas. The games were played against the National team of Bahamas which is the top-ranked team in the Caribbean Region.
The Turks & Caicos delegation, traveling to the Bahamas, included nine players and the Head Coach, Christopher Bryan. The players were:

The TCI lost both games to a better quality team but took away a good performance and provided the coaching staff with necessary information as to what to address before embarking to play the qualifiers
The Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship will be hosted in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on May 13-19, 2019. The sixteen participating teams will be sorted into four groups of four teams. After a round-robin play, the first and second place winners of each group will advance to the quarterfinals. Quarterfinal winners will advance to the semifinals, and then semifinal winners will automatically qualify for the tournament’s final as well as the 2019 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, Paraguay.
The official draw of the Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship took place on April 8th, 2019, in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The Turks & Caicos Islands was drawn to group B along with Panama, Trinidad & Tobago and U.S. Virgin Islands.
